- Ames On-demand has just installed the latest and best prepress environment in the Northeast. The Creo Dolev 800V Brisque
System is the heart of our prepress department. While our prepress department still handles conventional stripping, screening, and proofing, we've added integrated electronic services for processes like photo retouching, resizing, resampling, positioning output film, trapping and page positioning. We currently have several software packages available, such as, Adobe Acrobat™, Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe PageMaker®, Adobe Photoshop®, Frame Maker™, Freehand™, Microsoft Office 98, Preps, QuarkXPress™, BB Edit Lite, Full Auto Frame™, MacLink Plus and more. BookBuild - Ames On-Demand offers anInternet-based ordering/bookbuilding system, that allows the entire process of
selecting, ordering, manufacturing and distributing customized on-demand textbooks and coursepacks simpler, using the Internet and AOD BookBuild. An instructor can select modules, chapters, or supplemental material from
discipline-specific, database menus to produce customized text books or coursepacks that meet the specific needs of his or her course goals and syllabus.
